''Democracy North'', (formerly ''This Week on Media Mornings'') is a daily morning radio show featuring grassroots headlines. It broadcasts live from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, on unceded Coast Salish territory. The ''Democracy North'' project is inspired by, but not affiliated with, the US-based syndicated radio show Democracy Now! ==Participation== ''Democracy North'' brings together progressive news W2 Media Arts Society, Vancouver Co-op Radio, and the Rabble Podcast Network, hosted on rabble.ca, one of Canada’s leading online news service for the progressive left. W2 Community Media Arts Society is mostly run by volunteers and gives a voice to the community Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Vancouver Co-op Radio, CFRO, 100.5FM is a non-commercial, cooperative-owned, community radio station also located in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.
